Ms. Rebecca Parry
Professor, Nottingham Law School
Ms. Rebecca Parry is a Professor of Law at Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University, and a leading academic in the field of corporate insolvency and restructuring law. Her work focuses on domestic and comparative insolvency regimes, creditor protection, corporate rescue, and the interaction between insolvency law and broader commercial policy. She is widely recognised for her scholarship on the theoretical and practical foundations of insolvency systems and their role in supporting business recovery and financial stability.
Ms. Rebecca has extensive experience advising, researching and publishing on UK and international insolvency frameworks, including issues relating to company voluntary arrangements, administration, pre-packaged restructurings, and cross-border insolvency. She regularly engages with practitioners, regulators and policymakers, and her research contributes to law reform debates in the United Kingdom and beyond. Her academic work has been cited in leading legal texts and relied upon in discussions on insolvency reform and best practices.
She is an active member of the international insolvency community and is closely associated with INSOL International, where she contributes to research, policy development and professional education.
