Rajat Goyal is a seasoned investment professional currently serving as Principal Investment Officer at SBICAP Ventures Limited, where he is primarily associated with the SWAMIH Investment Fund, a flagship real-estate and infrastructure focused alternative investment fund in India. He brings around two decades of experience across private equity, strategy consulting and commercial banking, with a strong focus on the real estate and infrastructure sectors.

In his role at SBICAP Ventures, Rajat has been actively involved in sourcing, evaluating and structuring large-scale investments, negotiating transactions and overseeing deal execution across asset classes. Prior to this, he held senior investment roles at L&T Infra Private Equity, IL&FS Investment Manager, Shapoorji Pallonji Investment Advisor and LOGOS India, contributing to full-cycle investment activities from diligence and underwriting to acquisition and portfolio management. During his tenure at L&T Infra, he managed investments and an AUM of approximately US$150 million, and at Shapoorji Pallonji he led the acquisition of a $250 million commercial asset through competitive bidding.

Rajat is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and an MBA. His professional journey reflects deep expertise in alternative asset investing, transaction advisory and fund management, with a focus on generating long-term value across complex real estate and infrastructure investments in the Indian market.
